Initiate
Now you have established if the infection came in via an administrator or a standard user account you can move forward to scanning and cleaning.
3.1 If when you login to another profile (remember to not make the infection worse by logging in as an administrator) you do see the malware then either the account that was infected was an administrator or the malware has infected the machine more deeply than just in the first user profile.
3.2 At this point if you do not see the infection in the alternative profile that you just logged in as then you should ensure the alternative (apparently uninfected) profile is an administrator so you can clean the whole machine.
3.3 Begin the clean-up process.
